Blaenavon post office with two superb holiday lets

 

Our two family friendly self catering holiday flats offer clean comfortable accommodation.
This is the ideal base to explore the World Heritage site of Blaenavon, the Brecon
Beacons national park, the Black Mountains and the Marches. To see some of the
attractions check out the 'Blaenavon' and 'Web Links' pages.

Prince Street Post Office was purpose built in 1936 as a main sorting office.
Now a Grade II listed building it has a steep pitched roof of hand crafted stone tiles,
a marble plinth, sandstone frontage and much of the original woodwork inside.
It is still used as a Post Office serving the needs of the local community. It is owned
and run by Chris and Gail Rowles.

 

 
The Telephone Exchange

This is a light and airy first floor apartment that sleeps six people. It is self contained with a lounge/diner containing a table, two sofas, one a bed settee and parquet flooring. In the fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave there is crockery, utensils and saucepans etc.There is one family bedroom with a king sized bed and a set of bunk beds. In the bathroom there is a bath with shower head, wc, and hand basin.The flat has it's own private entrance.

 

   

 

 
The Sorting Office

This apartment is on the ground floor and again sleeps six people. It also has parquet flooring. There is a spacoius 'L' shaped lounge/diner with a six seater table, three sofas, one a bed settee. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and fitted wardrobes, the other contains a set of bunk beds. The kitchen again is fully equipped but with the addition of a washing machine and dish washer. The bathroom has a bath with shower head, wc and hand basin. The flat has it's own private entrance.

Below are our rates, (for flat rental, not per person) prices are quoted for full weeks. Partial weeks are available with
four days or more being charged at 100% of weekly rate and less than four days at 60%.
